POSTSCRIPT: Last week Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) called Republicans terrorists. Could this be a deliberate meme?

UPDATE: Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) says “a ransom was paid”. I guess this really is the Democratic line.
