President Obama is using the bogus 90% figure now:
“We have a responsibility to act, too. Some 90 per cent of the guns recovered in Mexico come from the United States,” he said in Mexico on Thursday, acknowledging a figure used by Mr Calderon.
The actual figure is 36% or less.
